In order to ensure additional security for the electrical energy system of Serbia in the winter months, the import of electrical energy from Azerbaijan should start in January, as stated by the Ministry of Mininig and Energy.
The quantity of electricity which Azerbaijan can deliver, and which has been defined in the negotiations so far, is 50 MW in transfer capacities. The transfer should be carried out through the territories of Turkey and Bulgaria, it is specified.
